TENDER DESCRIPTION

The shell construction works put out for tender here are carried out as part of the 2nd construction phase of the Paul-Klee-Schule, a special needs school with a focus on physical-motor development. This is intended to complete the learning houses A–E already built in the 1st construction phase, which contain classrooms and ancillary functions. In the 2nd construction phase, a specialist classroom building with forum (component F), a sports area with single-field sports and swimming hall (component G), and an administration area including staff rooms in an existing building that is under monument protection (building I) are now additionally planned and newly built. All components are connected and made accessible via connecting structures (component V). The one-storey new buildings are intended to meet the Passive House standard and will be constructed using timber hybrid construction. Building G will be underbuilt with a basement, with the ground slab and the external walls executed as a white tank.
