TENDER DESCRIPTION
Maabjerg Energi Center (MEC) owns and operates the waste-fired combined heat and power plant Maabjergværket near Holstebro. The plant was commissioned in 1992 and is equipped with 2 gantry cranes in the waste silo. In 2017, MEC replaced one of the gantry cranes with a new gantry crane, which has operated as the primary crane. MEC wishes to replace the oldest of the gantry cranes in the waste silo with a corresponding new one, which in future will be the primary crane. The new crane (hereinafter referred to as crane 2) must be able to operate fully automatically together with the remaining crane (hereinafter referred to as crane 1), manufacturer Demag ZKKW 10.5 tons, and the crane control system must be integrated with the existing crane, crane operation (crane seat), warehouse management and loading hall gates. This tender concerns both the mechanical and electrical works that must be carried out in connection with the replacement of the waste crane.
