TENDER DESCRIPTION

The road maintenance contract is a target-price service contract that emphasizes cooperation between the contracting authority and the contractor during the term of the contract. In the road maintenance contract, the contractor is responsible for project management tasks, the procurement of maintenance works, and contract-compliant maintenance services. The contract covers winter and summer maintenance of roads in accordance with the contract documents for winter and summer maintenance. The contract includes the summer and winter maintenance of roads located in the Imatra contract area. The total road network covered by the contract is approximately 1,015 kilometres, of which approximately 30 km are dual carriageway roads (Ise 2), approximately 5 km are dual carriageway roads (Is 2), approximately 95 km are single-carriageway roads (Is 1), approximately 325 km are unpaved roads, and approximately 75 km are pedestrian and cycling paths.
