TENDER DESCRIPTION

The municipality of Lingewaard wants to provide beneficiaries of international protection with a good start in the municipality from the moment they take up residence there. Good social support in the first period after accommodation helps to rapidly increase self-reliance, successful integration and long-term participation in Lingewaard’s society. Pursuant to the Integration Act 2021, the municipality has a statutory duty to provide social support to beneficiaries of international protection during the first phase after they settle. This support consists of assistance with practical matters, learning about Dutch society and encouraging independence. The municipality chooses to provide this social support in an integrated manner. In addition to the statutory social support, the assignment therefore also includes coordination relating to the accommodation of beneficiaries of international protection, providing the Participation Statement Pathway (Participatieverklaringstraject) (PVT), support with financial self-reliance, guidance relating to the language provider, additional language coaching where necessary and legal support in family reunification.
