TENDER DESCRIPTION

Pursuant to the Hessian Street Cleaning Act, the cities and municipalities are required to clean public roads within closed settlement areas or built-up parts of towns and villages. In the by-law of the City of Hünfeld on street cleaning dated 16.12.2021 (see Annex 1), the City of Hünfeld regulates the duty to clean roads, local road sections (Ortsdurchfahrten), paths and squares dedicated to public traffic. The duty to clean is transferred to the owners of adjacent properties. This does not apply to the streets and areas specified in the by-law for the core city of Hünfeld, for which the City of Hünfeld carries out cleaning as a public institution. In addition to other municipal properties, these streets and areas to be cleaned by the City form the basis for the services to be awarded. At present, no relevant amendments to the by-laws are planned; changes and additions regarding the streets and areas to be cleaned may result, among other things, from a possible expansion of the transport infrastructure.
