The services are paid for by lump-sum prices. Preamble: Presentation of the Bordeaux Métropole Water Utility Board: The Bordeaux Métropole Water Utility Board was created by a resolution of 18 December 2020 of the Bordeaux Métropole Council, endowed with its own legal personality and financial autonomy, pursuant to Articles L. 2221-1 et seq. and R. 2221-63 et seq. of the General Code of Territorial Collectivities. This incorporated utility is governed by the provisions of Articles L.1412-1, R.1412-1, L.2221-1 to L.2221-14, R.2221-1 to R.2221-17, and R.2221-63 to R.2221-94 of the General Code of Territorial Collectivities. In addition to the competencies relating to drinking water and non-collective sanitation that were transferred on 1 January 2023, the Utility Board has been responsible since 1 January 2026 for all the missions of the public service of collective sanitation for the management of stormwater (GEPU) across the entire territory of Bordeaux Métropole. The Bordeaux Métropole Water Utility Board is a contracting authority subject to the Public Procurement Code.
