TENDER DESCRIPTION
1. General a full roof survey will establish any problems that exist with the existing roof. Some common issues with this type of structure include; • loose fixings and fasteners • cut end corrosion of metal sheets • missing profile filler pieces - ridge and eaves • leaking gutters fixings fixings are consideredthe main reason for water ingress in this roof. Allowing water ingress. Fixings will also be affected by rust and will prove difficult to tighten up. All the fixings should be wire brushed and given individual treatment in accordance with the coating manufacturer's specification. The number of fixings should also be checked. For adequatacy the work shall include the supply and installation of the kemperol liquid applied waterproofing system to the existing metal pitch roof, as well as the lining of the gutters. All work shall be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines and british standards for roofing systems. 2. Materials the system shall use kemperol v 210 m, a cold liquid-applied, seamless waterproofing solution.
