TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Directorate of Judicial Institutions (Dienst Justitiële Inrichtingen, DJI), Corrections sector, manages three locations (Ter Peel, Veenhuizen and Vught) with laundries where the flat linen (bed, bath and kitchen textiles) of the institutions themselves is washed. In addition to cleaning the laundry, the employment of detainees is an important task of these laundries. In the current situation, 100% of the laundry for the corrections sector is processed by the in-house laundries. On an annual basis, this means that a total of approximately 2 million kg of laundry is washed by the in-house laundries. The scope of the procurement includes the supply, installation, maintenance and repair of professional washing machines and tumble dryers for the laundries in Ter Peel, Veenhuizen and Vught.
