TENDER DESCRIPTION
KLAR GmbH (KLAR) ) - acting as lead partner for cooperation between KLAR GmbH, KVB GmbH and KSV OWL GmbH) - is carrying out a market consultation procedure. From 2029, a total of approx. 46,000 t of ash from the incineration of municipal sewage sludge will be available from the above-mentioned cooperation. These ashes are subject to the obligation to recover phosphorus within the meaning of AbfKlärV. As it can be expected that there will not be sufficient capacity for phosphorus recovery available from 2029, KLAR GmbH will, as an alternative, prepare the long-term storage of the ashes within the meaning of §3b 2029 paragraph 3. It is expressly noted here that KLAR GmbH will continue to pursue phosphorus recovery and will end the storage as soon as recovery capacities are available in a technically and economically feasible amount. According to current market assessment, however, this will not be the case before 2035. To determine further details of a possibly required procurement procedure, this market consultation is being conducted.
