TENDER DESCRIPTION

For the project "Mars laboratory - The Bremische approach for life in conditions of resource scarcity", two large Mars simulation chambers are required in which the conditions on Mars are to be reproduced. This project provides the infrastructure in which, at a later stage, a production chain is to be built that is intended to produce a usable spare wheel for a Mars rover from Mars regolith and the Mars atmosphere. The production hall forms an environment in which people and robots can simulate production on Mars, and in the two vacuum chambers the climatic conditions are reproduced. These include an atmosphere with a pressure of 6 to 12 mbar and a composition of 96% carbon dioxide as well as nitrogen and argon, as well as temperatures from -80°C to 30°C in a 12-hour cycle.
