TENDER DESCRIPTION
The Langen wastewater treatment plant is to be expanded by an additional 4th treatment stage for the elimination of trace substances. Based on a multi-year research project carried out at the wastewater treatment plant, a process combination of cloth filtration and activated carbon filtration was selected. In preparation for changing requirements for treatment performance, provision is also to be made for the possibility of later expansion by ozonation. The hydraulic connection to the existing infrastructure is via an intermediate pumping station, which promotes the discharge of conventional wastewater treatment into the new treatment stage and will henceforth function as a high-water pumping facility. With this award, the mechanical equipment is being put out to tender. Further information can be found in the present bill of quantities and the contract documents.
