    TENDER DESCRIPTION

    When planning begins, any public provision for the telecommunications connection may need to be taken into account. If required, possible redundancies and the connection of additional institute buildings (campus networking) are to be planned accordingly. The Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics in Hannover is connected to the public grid via the MS - transfer substation on Callinstraße. The medium-voltage system is located as a customer substation in the basement of building 3405. From this substation, 3 transformers are supplied with the following connection ratings: 1600 KVA via circuit breakers, 1000 KVA via circuit breakers, and 630 KVA via HH - load-break switch. The 1600 KVA transformer is separated separately and supplies, via its own NSHV in the transformer cell, a server system. (Cluster) The above-mentioned systems are to be designed for the institute’s future power demand and must be adapted to a common power level. For switching over the transformer systems, an interim supply must be established to ensure that institute operations can be maintained in full.
