TENDER DESCRIPTION

At the MPI for Gravitational Physics Hannover (Albert-Einstein-Institut – AEI), in particular experimental basic research is conducted in the fields of laser interferometry, laser physics, quantum optics and precision measurement technology in order to enable current and future generations of gravitational wave detectors on Earth and in space. The institute is spread across multiple buildings. There is a need for additional office space. As part of the measure, the eastern part of the hall-type existing building 3405 is to be converted for physical laboratory spaces (clean rooms and grey rooms, laser and electronics laboratories, etc.) with approx. 1,240 m² NUF 1-6. For this, services for all constructional and technical measures are required, such as adapting the fire protection concept, structural adaptations in the shell and fit-out trades, dismantling the existing building services installations, and installing a new ventilation, cooling and electrical supply and the clean room installation.
