TENDER DESCRIPTION

At the MPI for Gravitational Physics in Hanover (Albert Einstein Institute – AEI), in particular experimental basic research is carried out in the fields of laser interferometry, laser physics, quantum optics and precision measurement technology in order to enable present and future generations of gravitational wave detectors on Earth and in space. The institute is spread across several buildings. There is a need for additional office space. As part of the measure, the eastern part of the hall-like existing building 3405 is to be converted for physical laboratory spaces (clean and grey rooms, laser and electronics laboratories, etc.) with approximately 1,240 m² of NUF 1-6. For this purpose, services are required for all structural and technical measures, such as adaptation of the fire protection concept, structural adjustments in rough and finished construction trades, dismantling of the existing building services systems, as well as installation of a new ventilation, cooling and electrical supply and the cleanroom installation.
