TENDER DESCRIPTION

The NDR wants to combine the existing studio rooms for radio and television based on an IP media network and upgrade them to the new technology in order to meet multimedia requirements. For the work in the LFH, there will be separate tenders. The scope there is not part of this tender. Many of the systems involved to date are obsolete or will reach their end-of-life shortly and therefore must be replaced. In the NDR, as part of an investigation preceding this project, it was decided that a Media-over-IP network (MoIP) based on SMPTE ST 2110 will be used. The central infrastructure of the NDR-wide MoIP network has already been developed and set up as part of another project. For the on-air start of the new MCR, the first production complexes will already be sending live on the MoIP network, therefore special care is required when integrating new devices into the system.
