For this purpose, LaZuF operates in 24539 Neumünster, Haart 148 a state accommodation facility (LUK) and initial reception facility with a capacity of up to 1,120 beds for residents. In the medium term, an increase in capacity to 1,250 beds is planned. In special exceptional situations, occupancy may temporarily also exceed this value. However, this involves limited-time exceptional cases. Further locations in Schleswig-Holstein are available, but not part of the tender offering. LaZuF will be represented on site with staff as the competent immigration authority and contracting party. The residents will be advised and cared for by a care service provider. Catering will be provided to ensure their meals. The security service is on site 24/7. A police station is staffed on the premises from Monday to Friday during daytime. In designing accommodation, counselling, support/care and catering, all parties must take into account the particular need for protection of children, women, young people, LSBTI* persons seeking protection, persons with disabilities, religious minorities, persons with severe physical illnesses or mental disorders, older people, pregnant women, single parents…
