For this purpose, the LaZuF operates a state accommodation (LUK) and an initial reception facility in 24539 Neumünster, Haart 148, with a capacity of up to 1,120 beds for residents. In the long term, an increase in capacity to 1,250 beds is planned. In special exceptional situations, occupancy may temporarily be above this value. However, these are time-limited exceptional cases. Further locations in Schleswig-Holstein are available, but they are not part of the offer. The LaZuF will be represented on site by staff as the responsible immigration authority and contracting party. The residents will be advised and cared for by a care service provider. Their catering will be ensured via catering. The security service is on site 24 / 7. A police station is staffed on the premises during daytime from Monday to Friday.
