Ruhrbahn GmbH ensures citizens' mobility on behalf of the city and connects the individual districts with bus, subway, and tram. It is a member of the Rhine-Ruhr Transport Association. One of its tasks lies in the maintenance and new construction of infrastructure for buses and trams. This refers both to the route network and the associated structural facilities, depots, administrative buildings, and a large number of smaller properties. The planned works concern the signal box building at the Schweriner Straße depot in Essen. The services tendered here include steel construction work, free-standing stairwell system with access also to the roof area, stair connection to the neighboring building, shaft ladders of the new cable routing shafts, ladder system with two landings on the ground floor and upper floor installation shaft building, canopy building upper floor.
