TENDER DESCRIPTION

With the project "Extension of the Wallraf-Richartz Museum & Fondation Corboud", the City of Cologne plans to construct a building complex in Cologne's Old Town that will extend the Wallraf-Richartz Museum & Fondation Corboud (by architect O.M. Ungers) by means of an underground access route using a connecting structure. In addition, the main building is to undergo general refurbishment. The subject of the construction services being tendered is the metal construction trade for exterior doors and windows for the general refurbishment of the main building of the Wallraf-Richartz Museum. The aim is comprehensive technical renewal of the existing building as well as its structural and functional connection to the extension building. The completion of the refurbishment is to be coordinated in terms of timing with the completion of the new build in order to enable a coordinated commissioning and use of both building sections.
