TENDER DESCRIPTION

1 General IHK Ulm plans the new construction of a 5-storey education centre, fully basemented. The existing building will be completely demolished for this purpose. The newly planned building has floor plan dimensions of approx. 24 m x 29 m. The top edge of the floor of the ground floor is at 478.1 m above sea level (m a.s.l.). The longitudinal façades to the east and west are glass façades, which are designed as double-façade constructions. The east façade is oriented towards the courtyard and, in the floor plan, runs at approx. 11° inclined relative to the building’s longitudinal alignment. The west façade is oriented towards the street and runs parallel to the building’s longitudinal alignment. The end wall to the south is a closed fire wall to an adjacent neighbouring building. The end wall to the north is predominantly closed and has, in the middle, a slight kink of 11° in the floor plan alignment. 2 Load-bearing structure The basement, the fire wall and the rising escape stairwell are planned in conventional solid construction.
