TENDER DESCRIPTION

As part of the façade refurbishment of the Institute building I02 of the Medical School of Hanover (MHH), Hannover, the building envelope and parts of the roof surface are to be refurbished while teaching operations are ongoing. For the refurbishment, approx. 2,550 m2 of expanded metal façade is to be produced in a wavy form as a ventilated, suspended façade. The façade works include the substructure, in parts with insulation work, and in parts with a substructure fixed to timber frame wall panels provided on site. For outdoor railings, expanded metal panels are also to be provided, here in a smooth form. The scope of services includes: Demolition of existing façade (precast concrete panels, wood fibre insulation), dismantling of ceiling lining of entrance canopy; installation of thermal insulation and windproofing layer; supply and installation of aluminium substructure, expanded metal panels and aluminium panels including connecting profiles to windows and doors, external window sills; metal cassette ceiling in the entrance area; expanded metal panels as door and railing infill; installation concept, construction schedule, structural calculations and documentation; provision…
