TENDER DESCRIPTION

As part of the façade refurbishment of the I02 institute building of the Medical School Hannover (MHH), Hannover, the building envelope and parts of the roof surface are to be refurbished during ongoing teaching operations. For the refurbishment, approximately 2,550 m2 of expanded metal façade in a wavy form is to be produced as a ventilated rainscreen façade mounted in front. The façade works include the substructure, in parts including insulation work, in parts with a UK on building-side timber frame walls. For balustrades in outdoor areas, expanded metal panels are also to be provided, here in smooth form. The scope of performance includes: demolition of existing façade (precast concrete panels, wood-fibre thermal insulation), dismantling of ceiling lining of the entrance canopy; installation of new thermal insulation and windproof layer; supply and installation of aluminium substructure, expanded metal panels and aluminium panels including connecting profiles to windows and doors, exterior window sills; metal cassette ceiling in the entrance area; expanded metal panels as door and balustrade infill; installation concept, construction schedule, structural calculations and…
