TENDER DESCRIPTION

As part of the façade refurbishment of the institute building I02 of Hannover Medical School (MHH), Hannover, the building envelope and parts of the roof surface will be refurbished during ongoing teaching operations. For the refurbishment, approx. 2,550 m2 of expanded metal façade in a wavy form is to be produced as a ventilated, rain-screen façade. The façade works include the substructure, in parts with insulation work, and in parts with a substructure (UK) installed on timber frame construction walls provided on site. For balustrades in outdoor areas, expanded metal panels are also to be provided, here in a smooth form. The scope of services includes: demolition of existing façade (precast concrete panels, wood fibre insulation), dismantling of the ceiling lining of the entrance canopy; installation of thermal insulation and a wind-tightness layer; delivery and installation of an aluminium substructure, expanded metal panels and aluminium panels including connection profiles to windows and doors, exterior window sills; metal cassette ceiling in the entrance area; expanded metal panels as door and balustrade infill; installation concept, construction sequence plan, structural…
