TENDER DESCRIPTION

As part of the roof and façade refurbishment of building I02 of the Medical School Hannover, comprehensive carpentry and timber construction works as well as the replacement of windows are planned. The construction work is carried out as refurbishment during ongoing operations and, in parallel, in several construction phases. Access to and logistics on the site vary depending on the construction phase. Production and delivery are carried out in individual sections. The tendered carpentry works include the demolition of approx. 1,000 m2 of existing glass-aluminium window façade and of components containing asbestos and PCB-contaminated components. After that, approx. 1,850 m2 of suspended timber frame construction walls are installed, including 200 mm mineral wool insulation and interior lining board. The scope of services also includes the delivery and installation of new timber-aluminium windows, aluminium pivot doors, external roller shutters, and window sills.
