TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract to be awarded is a rental/service contract for the provision and full-service maintenance of 78 digital copiers or multifunction devices with a term of 48 months starting on 01.03.2027, which ends on 28.02.2031. The service consists of the provision and support of 78 devices at locations in school, childcare and administrative buildings of the City of Heidelberg in accordance with the following performance characteristics (Section II) and the attached device directory. In addition, the contracting authority shall be granted the option to procure, as required, additional devices for use in offices within the City of Heidelberg during the first year of the contract term under these tender conditions. Whether devices are requested and what number of devices is procured in the event of need depends on the currently non-quantifiable demand. The rental period for the additionally procured devices runs until 29.02.2032. If the call-off right is exercised, the fee per option device is determined by the tender prices (monthly total price; price for subsequent copies) for the respective device type.
