TENDER DESCRIPTION

A rental/service contract is to be awarded for the provision and full-service maintenance of 78 digital copiers or multifunction devices with a term of 48 months from 01.03.2027, ending on 28.02.2031. The service consists of the provision and support of 78 devices at locations in school, childcare and administrative buildings of the City of Heidelberg in accordance with the following service specifications (section II) as well as the attached device list. In addition, the contracting authority is to be granted the option to call up, as needed, additional devices for use in offices within the city area of Heidelberg during the first year of the contract term under these tender conditions. Whether devices are requested and what number of devices is called up in the event of need depends on the currently not quantifiable demand. The rental period for the additionally called-up devices runs until 29.02.2032. If the call-up right is exercised, the fee per option device is determined in accordance with the bid prices (monthly total price; price for subsequent copies) for the respective device type.
