Security services for the Mikkeli Cathedral Parish Church for a three-year contract period as a single overall entity in accordance with this request for tenders. The Mikkeli Cathedral Parish Church operates in the areas of Mikkeli, Anttola, Haukivuori, Ristiina, Suomenniemi and Puumala. The properties include churches, parish halls, meeting facilities, chapels for blessings and funerals, camp centres, and buildings at cemeteries. A list of alarm monitoring sites is provided in Appendix 1. The parish’s needs for security services are varied. The main aspect is guarding of premises and property at times when the parish’s activities are minimal or nonexistent. The primary purpose of the security services is to ensure the continuity and uninterrupted operation of activities, and to take care of the safety of staff and the properties. For the contracting authority, important matters are quality requirements and as real-time as possible situational awareness regarding deviations and risk factors occurring at the premises that may compromise security.
