TENDER DESCRIPTION

Security services for the Mikkeli Cathedral Parish for a three-year contract period as a single entity in accordance with this invitation to tender. The Mikkeli Cathedral Parish operates in the areas of Mikkeli, Anttola, Haukivuori, Ristiina, Suomennniemi and Puumala. The properties include churches, parish halls, assembly spaces, funeral chapels, campsites and cemetery buildings. The list of alarm surveillance locations is provided in Appendix 1. The parish’s needs for security services are diverse. The largest overall component is the guarding of premises and property during times when the parish’s activities are minimal or nonexistent. The main purpose of the security services is to ensure continuity and uninterrupted operation of activities and to take care of the safety of staff and properties. For the contracting authority, important matters are quality requirements and as up-to-date as possible situational awareness regarding exceptions and risk factors occurring in the premises that jeopardise safety.
