TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Main-Kinzig-Kreis as the school authority, represented by its responsible Department 65 - School Construction and Real Estate - (hereinafter also referred to as the “Contracting Authority” or “CA”), intends the turnkey construction of a new multi-storey, freestanding primary school building with an integrated one-court sports hall, including its outdoor facilities, on the basis of a functional performance specification by means of a total contractor award procedure. In doing so, the Contracting Authority pursues the aim of procuring, in the best possible shortest planning and construction time, a high-quality “Learning House” cluster school building individually designed to meet today’s and foreseeable future requirements, taking into account all especially educational and modern technical requirements, from an architectural and urban-planning perspective, with the initial occupancy planned to take place at the latest at the beginning of the 2028/2029 school year, if necessary later, but as soon as possible thereafter.
