TENDER DESCRIPTION

Overnight accommodation facilities provide homeless adult women, as temporary emergency support, with decent accommodation of a simple kind. The facility is open Mondays to Fridays from 16:00 to 08:00 and all day at weekends and public holidays. Longer-term day-time accommodation for users is not envisaged, since the overnight accommodation facility is designed only as temporary emergency support. The aim of social support in emergency accommodation is to eliminate the acute homelessness of people by providing a long-term housing perspective outside the overnight accommodation facility. The property at Georg-Schumann-Straße 268 is intended for long-term use as an overnight accommodation facility for homeless women. A slight increase in the standard capacity would be desirable. A capacity reserve for temporary additional occupancy, e.g. by providing extra beds during the winter months, is to be reviewed under building regulations and fire protection law and taken into account in the planning.
