Once the drought situation has ended, it is necessary to draft this new contract in order to ensure sampling in reservoirs – and where appropriate, also in sections of large rivers – in those cases where on-site situations are detected that pose a risk to water quality or where changes occur in the regulations that require additional controls. It is important to guarantee continuity of service and the availability of reliable data in order to make the appropriate decisions and anticipate possible impacts on the environment or the resource.
