TENDER DESCRIPTION

The scope of services to be performed in accordance with the bill of quantities comprises the structural shell works for the construction of a new research building as an extension to the existing, listed Max Planck Institute for Medical Research. The building consists of a high-rise building with 10 above-ground and 2 below-ground storeys, as well as an underground special laboratory area. The scope of work also includes earthworks for the excavation. The construction of the retaining system/shoring is to be carried out by the client on site. The structural shell works include: - Masonry works - Concrete and reinforced concrete works including prefabricated components and steel composite support columns - Waterproofing and insulation works - Steel construction works - Trench base services (subsurface pipelines) - Installation works for TGA (building services engineering) - Pre-measures for district heating/potable water connection Note on the product specification for the composite support column system Geilinger-Stütze: Due to complex requirements regarding load-bearing capacity, cross-sectional dimensions, and fire protection, this product specification is mandatory.
