N8 / Lungern Nord – Giswil Süd: Baulos 21 Trassee und Kunstbauten Nord

TENDER DESCRIPTION

In the area between the south portal of the existing Giswil tunnel and the new Kaiserstuhl tunnel (separate, contract already awarded as Lot 19), the road infrastructure is being expanded so that in future the national road and the cantonal road can be routed separately over two separate alignments. The current alignment of the Brünigstrasse runs over the existing Buochholz bridge, past the OWi land to Lake Lungerersee. After the opening of the Kaiserstuhl tunnel, the existing Buochholz bridge will be used for the national road. For the cantonal road, a new road bridge is to be built parallel to the existing bridge (separate contract already awarded as Lot 20). In the present Lot 21, the works for the gap closure between the Griffeldossen/Buochholz area (Lot 20) and the Kaiserstuhl tunnel (Lot 19) are procured. The works include alignment works for the national and cantonal roads with retaining structures as well as a SABA, a PW, terrain modelling in the Marchgraben area, hydraulic engineering works and smaller engineering structures.
