TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject matter of the contract is the provision of services in the field of handling municipal waste in accordance with this description of the subject matter of the contract, inter alia, services related to the collection, transport and processing of municipal waste, disinfection and cleaning of collection containers, as well as the operation of waste collection yards within the territory of the City of Košice, including ensuring separate collection. The contracting authority’s requirements for ensuring separate collection are set out in Part 1 point 1.3 of the description of the subject matter of the contract. The services must be ensured in accordance with the waste management hierarchy arising from Act No. 79/2015 Coll. on waste and on amendments to certain laws, as amended (hereinafter referred to as “Waste Act”), and with other relevant legal regulations. The expected date for commencement of the service provision is 1 January 2027. The duration of the service provision is set at 120 months, i.e. until 31 December 2036 in the event that the contract enters into force on 01.01.2027.
