TENDER DESCRIPTION
1 unit of nanoscopy microscopy system For structural analysis of fixed samples, optical resolution is the decisive parameter. High optical resolution makes it possible to better recognize cellular organizations and thereby to assess more precisely both the positive and the negative influence of substances. In order to be able to microscopically analyze detailed protein and membrane organizations such as protein dimers as well as small pores in biomembranes, and additionally to distinguish protein conformations, a microscope with an optical resolution of up to 5 nm in 3D or below 1 nm in 2D is necessary. In order to be able to track the movement of proteins or other cellular structures within a cell, it is important that both the time interval between two localizations is as small as possible and the localization precision is as high as possible. In particular for analyzing the dynamics of individual proteins in biomembranes, a temporal resolution of up to 1 ms and, in live-cell mode, a localization precision of 10 nm in 3D are required. Since it was founded five years ago, the Fraunhofer ITMP external site in Göttingen has developed into a well-known address for modern and…
