TENDER DESCRIPTION

Fimlab Laboratories Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the “Contracting Entity”) is tendering, for the needs of its operating area (in the welfare regions of Kanta-Häme, Central Finland, Pirkanmaa, Ostrobothnia and Päijät-Häme), for sampling tubes, the tubes used for sample separation, a urine sample container and a urine transfer adapter. The activities of the Contracting Entity’s owner bodies, i.e. the welfare regions, are in transition and changes—for example to the site network and to the need for laboratory services—may occur. The participating welfare regions of Pirkanmaa, Kanta-Häme, Central Finland, Päijät-Häme and Ostrobothnia, as well as Tuomi Logistics Ltd, may, in this specific tender, make use of the supplier’s and Fimlab’s agreement between them. In the sampling tubes, in certain sub-areas a pre-barcoded tube type (so-called pre-barcoded tubes) is mandatory as an option. The Client intends to take small quantities of these tubes for test use during the contract period and possibly later, in stages, for production use.
