TENDER DESCRIPTION
The State of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), represented by the Viersen district police authority, intends to lease a new police service building for the Viersen district police authority in Kempen. Accommodation at the current location in Kempen no longer meets the current requirements regarding space needs and functionality. The project can be implemented either by planning and new construction of a property, or by conversion with renovation of an existing property, or by adapting an already existing project that is under construction. In each case, the property must be specifically tailored to the needs of the tenant. Exclusive use of the building is desirable, but not mandatory. For example, shared use with another authority may be feasible. In the event of shared use of the plot of land (including district projects) or of the building with additional users, it must in all cases be ensured that the contracting authority is accommodated in a self-contained, separately accessed part of the building and in a fenced-in plot area, and that the contracting authority’s usable areas are contiguous.
