TENDER DESCRIPTION

The State of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), represented by the Essen Police Headquarters, intends to lease a new police service building in the city centre of Mülheim an der Ruhr. The current property no longer meets the requirements for a modern and functional police service building. The project can be implemented either by converting, refurbishing and modernising an existing property, or by planning and constructing a new building, or by adapting an already-under-construction facility. In each case, the property must be tailored specifically to the needs of the tenant. Sole use of the building is desirable, but not mandatory. For instance, shared use with another authority is conceivable. If the plot of land and/or building is used jointly with other users, it must in every case be ensured that the contracting authority is housed in a self-contained building part that is accessed separately and that the usable areas of the contracting authority are contiguous.
