TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Weinheim intends to replace the daycare center “Kita Waid” on the property Hammerweg 7 in 69469 Weinheim, cadastral plot No. 13113. The subject of the project is the construction of a two-group daycare center including rooms for IG Waid. The reason for the new-build planning is significant structural deficiencies in the existing building. The property, approximately 1,750 m² in size, is located at the eastern edge of an existing residential area. On the property there is currently the existing daycare center in a basemented building that was originally constructed as a school building. The available open spaces are used primarily as outdoor play areas and are largely landscaped. The property has a slight slope to the west. In addition, in the northwestern part of the property there is a significant level difference of just under 3 m. The site topography must be taken into account, in particular for the building layout, barrier-free access, and site drainage.
