TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Weinheim intends to carry out a replacement construction of the day-care center “Kita Waid” on the property Hammerweg 7 in 69469 Weinheim, parcel no. 13113. The subject of the project is the construction of a two-group day-care center including rooms for IG Waid. The reason for the new-build planning is significant structural defects in the existing building. The approximately 1,750 m² plot is located at the eastern edge of an existing residential area. The existing day-care center is currently situated on the plot in a basement-equipped building that was originally erected as a school building. The available open spaces are used mostly as outdoor play areas and are largely green. The plot has a slight slope towards the west. In addition, in the northwestern part of the plot there is a distinct level difference of just under 3 m. The site topographical conditions must be taken into account in particular in the building layout, barrier-free access, and plot drainage.
