TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Weinheim intends to replace the day-care center “Kita Waid” on the property Hammerweg 7 in 69469 Weinheim, property parcel no. 13113. The subject of the project is the construction of a two-group day-care center, including rooms for IG Waid. The reason for the new-build planning is significant structural defects in the existing building. The property, approximately 1,750 m² in size, is located on the eastern edge of an existing residential area. On the property there is currently the existing day-care center in a basemented building that was originally built as a school building. The available open areas are used primarily as outdoor play areas and are mostly landscaped. The property has a slight gradient towards the west. In addition, in the northwestern part of the property there is a marked change in level of just under 3 m. The site topography must be taken into account particularly with regard to the building layout, barrier-free access, and on-site drainage.
