TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Weinheim intends to replace and rebuild the "Kita Waid" daycare centre on the property Hammerweg 7 in 69469 Weinheim, cadastral plot no. 13113. The subject of the project is the construction of a two-group daycare centre, including rooms for IG Waid. The reason for the new-build planning is significant structural defects in the existing building. The property is approximately 1,750 m² and is located on the eastern edge of an existing residential area. The existing daycare centre is currently located on the property in a basement building which was originally built as a school building. The available outdoor areas are used predominantly as outdoor play areas and are largely landscaped. The property slopes slightly towards the west. In addition, there is a distinct change in elevation of just under 3 m in the north-western part of the property. The site conditions must be taken into account in particular when arranging the buildings, providing barrier-free access, and handling stormwater and site drainage.
