TENDER DESCRIPTION

The city of Weinheim intends to replace and rebuild the “Kita Waid” daycare centre on the property Hammerweg 7 in 69469 Weinheim, cadastral parcel no. 13113. The subject of the project is the construction of a two-group daycare centre, including rooms for IG Waid. The reason for the new-build planning is significant structural defects in the existing building. The plot, at approximately 1,750 m², is located on the eastern edge of an existing residential area. On the property, the existing daycare centre is currently housed in a basement-equipped building that was originally constructed as a school building. The existing open spaces are used mainly as outdoor play areas and are largely landscaped/green. The property has a slight slope towards the west. In addition, there is a distinct height difference of almost 3 m in the north-western part of the property. The site topography must be taken into account especially when arranging the building, providing barrier-free access, and draining the site.
