TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Weinheim intends to carry out the replacement new-build of the day-care centre “Kita Waid” on the property Hammerweg 7 in 69469 Weinheim, cadastral parcel no. 13113. The purpose of the project is the construction of a two-group day-care centre, including rooms for the IG Waid association. The reason for the new-build planning is significant structural defects in the existing building. The plot, approximately 1,750 m² in size, is located at the eastern edge of an existing residential area. The existing day-care centre is currently located on the property in a basement-equipped building that was originally constructed as a school building. The available open spaces are used predominantly as outdoor play areas and are largely landscaped with greenery. The plot has a slight slope towards the west. In addition, in the north-western part of the plot there is a marked height difference of just under 3 m. The topographical conditions must be taken into account, in particular in the arrangement of the building, the barrier-free access, and the plot drainage.
