HD_65_2026_003 Construction of a canteen with childcare rooms at Mönchhof Primary School in Heidelberg The food and childcare situation at Mönchhof School is to be fundamentally improved through the construction of a canteen and the creation of modern rooms for the care of primary school pupils. The existing care pavilion, which was built in the 1960s, has had deficiencies for many years and becomes unacceptably hot in summer; therefore it is to be demolished and replaced with a new building. Mönchhof School has no dining room; currently, students are eating in a decentralised manner in the childcare rooms of the pavilion and the basement. The new building is planned as a two-storey building, not to be constructed with a basement.
