TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Regionaltangente West (RTW) is a new tangential rail connection in the Rhine-Main area to improve local rail passenger transport in the Frankfurt am Main metropolitan area. It primarily serves to provide better connections between the western districts of the city of Frankfurt am Main and the surrounding districts, cities and municipalities, both with one another and among themselves, and to improve access to Frankfurt Airport. The project is divided into the planning approval sections PFA North, PFA Mitte as well as PFA South I and South II. The tender covered by this notice is located in the planning approval section North. The planning approval decision North is included with the tender documents and must be observed during construction. The subject of this tender are the following services: Construction of a steel railway overpass (EÜ BAB A5) in the vicinity of the federal motorway BAB A5. The steel bridge is manufactured at a pre-assembly yard and, after completion, is inserted during a full closure (total interruption) of BAB A5 using SPMTs.
