TENDER DESCRIPTION

The construction project forms part of the redevelopment of Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz in the city centre of Leipzig. Following a preceding architectural competition, a new institute building for the Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography (Leibniz-Institut für Länderkunde) Leipzig will be built, consisting of an underground car park, ground and intermediate floors as well as six upper storeys. The sustainable building also includes a green roof, generous interior greenery in the multi-storey atrium and a geothermal energy system. The works essentially include drywall partition walls, shaft walls, ceilings, drylining plaster, acoustic plaster systems and interior doors.
