TENDER DESCRIPTION

A comprehensive new build of the Ober-Eschbach wastewater treatment plant is planned. A key condition is that during the construction works there must be no restriction to the plant’s cleaning performance. For this reason, existing plant components may only be taken out of operation once the corresponding new plant components have been erected and are operational. For this reason, in the construction section that includes the mechanical equipment for the inlet pumping station covered by this invitation to tender, the extension site on the northern part of the wastewater treatment plant site is to be developed. The following structures will be newly built: -Technics building 1 (TG01), which essentially includes the following plant components: • screening plant, inlet pumping station, grit washer, screening system, container facility for screenings, grit and screened material, blower station for aeration and for the grit chamber, excess sludge pumping station, laboratory; -Sand and grease trap (SF); -Preliminary treatment (VK); -Aeration tanks (BB); -Pipeline channels for aeration and preliminary treatment.
