TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Hechingen aims to implement the construction of a new day-care centre in the Stetten district and in the immediate vicinity of the existing hall. The day-care facility is to include a total of five groups: two U3 groups with 10 children each and three U3 groups with 20–25 children each. As care model, VÖ (extended opening hours five days per week) as well as GT (full-day care) are to be offered. Therefore, the premises are to be developed in such a way that full-day care would be possible in two of the three U3 groups. This allows a flexible design of the care model, tailored to the needs of families. The project will be implemented completely in a single construction phase. It is currently unclear whether implementation starting from performance phase 5 (execution planning) will be carried out via a general contractor. Therefore, the planning offices are initially to be commissioned only for performance phases 1–4. At a later point in time, it will be decided whether the construction implementation will be carried out through separate awards or by a general contractor.
