TENDER DESCRIPTION

The architecture is to place emphasis on clear structures, natural materials and generous daylighting, for example by considering features such as timber solid construction as a load-bearing and design element, alternatively timber hybrid construction, flexible spatial layouts for later use variants and later expansion options including an additional group room. The building is to blend harmoniously into the largely level site and to open to the outdoor areas via direct access routes. Furthermore, the new construction is to meet high ecological and energy-efficiency standards in the spirit of sustainability, such as timber construction with CO2 storage, a roof extensively greened to improve the microclimate and a photovoltaic system for generating electricity for own use. The layout of the rooms is to allow use by all age groups, from U2 to preschool children. The Ortsgemeinde Ebertsheim therefore issues the Technical Building Services for the construction of the day-care centre in accordance with § 73 VgV.
